Logo Design Brief

We are a small independant insurance agency. We are tired of the boring approach to insurance logos. We would like a casually professional logo that is so cool you would want to wear it on a t-shirt or cap....just because its ....well...cool. sort of hippie retro with warm colors that make you think tie-dye Greatful Dead....but no so much that you wouldn't trust us . Lets face it ...its hard to make insurance seem interesting and casual...and its serious stuff, but we dont want to come across all doom and gloom. In terms of a logo I would like it to look good on a polo shirt for in office wear and also potentially be integrated inot a tie dye shirt. The logo would be the kind of compromise between businessman meets hippie and they agree on a design.

Updates

In terms of the image I want ot project for my Agency. A logog that doesnt bore peopkle to death. A logo that woyld translate well to a dress shirt or a Tie-Dye t-shirt. Thats asking a lot . Professionla but not too stiff or stodgy. Think businessman meets a Hippie and they reach a compromise on the design.
