Book Cover Design Brief

PLEASE READ THE SHOULD NOT HAVES. DO NOT USE THE IMAGE I PROVIDED FOR THE KEYHOLE. I JUST PULLED THAT OFF GOOGLE TO SHOW AN EXAMPLE.

Front cover sketch is supposed to be a keyhole on a doorway. I’m picturing and older, more rustic/weathered wood and keyhole.



Hoping the back cover can be a reversed, mirror image of the front with an eye peeking through the exact same keyhole.



I don't have the book edited and formatted yet, but based on my other books' word and page count at 5.25x8, this one should come out to about 375 pages (to keep in mind for spine width).


Here is the back cover summary:

You hold in your hands a collection of the most important lessons learned by an explorer who delved into varying degrees of this otherworldly consciousness roughly a hundred times over five years. Whether these recollections were spiritual occurrences induced by a higher power or just convincing hallucinations brought on by a chemical power doesn’t matter. The trips were often more real than any occurrence on the sober plane of existence and pivotal in shaping one man’s worldview.
