Art Design Brief

We are looking for a graphic symbol that represents our business. We visualize this graphic to be utilized on our yard sign and as a sticker that we will place on our breakfast baked goods. We are hoping for something that can easily be incorporated in all of our marketing activities.

We are a small, newly constructed, 8 private suite bed & breakfast/Inn,
in the center of a small resort town, on the Lake Michigan shoreline (Saugatuck, MI). We offer private 1 bedroom suites with our name sake feature being a private screened porch with a daybed type porch swing.

For the vibe, on the exterior of the structure we targeted a coastal cottage vibe. For the interior of the structure we targeted an eclectic mix of coastal cottage with a mid century modern flair.

We have chosen a "porch swing" image for this graphic, but are not "feeling it" with the "library" type images that have been presented to date.

Requirements for this graphic symbol:
- Quickly and easily identifiable to the eye
- Must be an artistic interpretation of a porch swing, not too literal, while keeping a sophisticated and upscale feeling.
- An image that evokes feelings that represent our tagline "Relax, Enjoy, Unwind."
- Easily becomes the graphic identity of our product

I have included an image that we plan to use for the exterior signage that includes the porch swing image that we are looking to improve, along with a picture of the actual daybed swing that will be installed in each of our porches. In addition, I have attached an exterior rendering of the structure.
