Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design, to be used on signage and tshirts, for a dance company based in Denmark, Western Australia called Denmark Dance Company. We offer a range of services from recreational dance classes for children through to adults (in contemporary, ballet, jazz, hip hop and capoeira), as well as professional community dance performances and dance therapy services. Requirements

Must have

• Featuring bold, dynamic lettering that reflects the energetic and contemporary nature of the company's work. Sleek and modern, with clean lines and possibly some stylistic embellishments to evoke movement or rhythm. Letters might be arranged in a distinctive way to convey a sense of creativity and innovation.

Nice to have

• I would like to see designs that are bold and clean, utilising black and white. I am interested in a design very similar to the Sydney Dance Company design, but integrating colour into the letters (perhaps the first letter of each word; D, D and C or throughout? ). We are surrounded by beaches and forest so perhaps blue and green, and sunset colours - I am open to your ideas. It would be fantastic to also see a design for the letter D, with Denmark Dance Company written underneath it.

Should not have

• I'm not interested in anything that's too pretty or suggests ballet. Our dance service provides extensive dance opportunities for the community whilst also providing opportunities for professional dancers and artists from metropolitian areas, to work with us in our regional context.
