Hi all. Most designs fail when it comes to universality.
The logo has to work with Folk Instruments, as well as Rock Guitars, and it has to work on the forum, on classifieds, on e-learning section. It has to appeal to young kid musicians, and it has to appeal to heavy metal bands.
It has to be *universal*, timeless, and at the same time interesting and memorable.

I would suggest that you study the audio industry to get ideas. It's not enough to search for audio related icons to flaticon or other vector graphics websites. Study vintage equipment, guitars, guitar amplifiers, outboard, microphones, speakers, studios etc. for inspiration.
