Logo Design Brief

“The Wellington” will be a bed and breakfast located in Rural Europe (Portugal). The location is historic due to the Napolianic/Peninsular wars and more specifically a battle (Battle of Vimeiro) that changed the tide of the war in that particular town. The Duke of Wellington was pivotal in this battle and started his upward trajectory from this war. We would like the logo of the W to evoke a bit of that history and importance without looking like a wedding invite or too military.
