Logo Design Brief

We are a Norwegian family of 5 sailing for a couple of years around the world. Our boat name will be Salto and we would like a nice logo for the hull. It should be possible to use both on a hull in size as well as print/embroidered on t-shirts and other garments in smaller sizes. It should be easy to read the name from distance. It should not be too elaborate with graphics covering the entire hull, but kept simple and elegant.

The purpose of the trip and the boat is to explore the world together as a family, learn, live and develop ourselves in different environments. We want to spend time with our kids while they are young and make memories together. The word "salto" means "flip" (as in backflip or frontflip) in Norwegian.

Attached is a pdf of the boat hull to have the logo placed. Also examples of other similar boats with boat names on the side. The font of the ship yards logo is also attached, but it is not essential for this to be used.
