Are you looking for a "logo" or a complete illustration? this seems like a lot going on to be a logo. Are you able to elaborate on what you are looking for in your design brief? Thank you. I will spend some time reviewing the brief further and will sketch up some ideas for you. What a beautiful project.

Good questions, I am hoping for something simple like a logo, but yes, there are many parts. I am now less concerned with the knots of the Franciscan cord hitting the cities of Dover Canterbury and London. It was too literal, and there three cities seemed too much like a band tour. But the cord casting the fishing net which has caught Great Britain and Ireland might be the simplified version we are looking for. The tau cross might be too much too, but I will leave it to your creative imagination to see if there is a good way to include it, so that it does not seem like an add on... or leave it out if it is too much. I hope this helps.
