Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new consulting company called "School Food Insights Group". It is a research and communications company providing timely evidence-based solutions and knowledge translation services to advance school food programming in Canada and around the world. As school meal programs do more than provide food, our consultancy examines the whole school food system that can support local agriculture and markets while simultaneously improving health, nutrition, and education, making communities more resilient. We envision a world where every child has a healthy meal at school every day, supporting resilient local food system and better learning and health outcomes for children.

Our ideal costumers are governments and schools seeking research services such as program evaluation, and charities looking for advocacy and knowledge translation support to secure additional funding for school food programming from their government. The final design should communicate a professional company with highly educated consultants (PhDs), that are dedicated to transforming and expanding school food programs around the world.

Design features I like: I like the image attached as it is a sleek and professional design that showcases elements of the food system and food value chain, from farm to food processing, to consumption (barn, food transportation truck, cow, etc). One idea is to modify this to add some school food related features, like a school meal tray, a school bus, a school house, in addition to the other food and nature elements. The picture comes from this logo and website: https://laurenbaker.ca. Please do not directly insert this image into your design, but I welcome you to modify it.
