Logo Design Brief

The logo will encompass various industries. I was looking for a black lion with black waves; something simple—inverted also works; white logo, black background. Businesses will range from real estate to medical consulting. The attached picture is an excellent example of the desired simplicity. I would love for this to blow up into a local brand. Something that will be regionally recognized but would also look good on a t-shirt chest stamp. LionWave is a blend of astrological signs in my household. I am an Aquarius, along with my youngest daughter. My wife and oldest daughter are Leo. The design doesn't necessarily have to resemble astrology, just the words Lion and Wave themselves. The significance of the color black is... Black is our last name, and I would like to keep that subtle incorporation. The logo text can be The LionWave Group, LionWave Group, or just LionWave; whichever suits the style best.
