Logo Design Brief

I breed American Quarter Horses in a small stud in Australia. I am looking for a western but contemporary looking logo. Nothing too complicated with simple colours, I like a rust, black and grey colour scheme. The design needs to convey quality but also indicate these are western style horses.
Please note that QHR is the prefix of my stud and is included in each horse name and must appear on the logo. And so must Rosina Quarter Horses. I need people to understand that the QHR prefix means the horse is from Rosina Quarter Horses.
