Logo Design Brief

I would like to have my logo brought to the 21st Century. It was created over 20 years ago and looks outdated and I dont have a high resolution file I can use for printing or large posters. I need to keep the same colors and layout but want it more modern. Happy to conders some form of variations of the logo but nothing too dramatic in change.
