Logo Design Brief

I need several different logos to look at. The information below was given to Harold C as a change to his second design. He never responded with a new design.
1. Using the last uploaded image and taking out the word 816, Boys and KC, and using just one of them, write in across the MAVS, Two States One Family. Use maybe some type of a state line as a hyphen between Two States One Family
2. A logo With the words Mid America Volleyball in it, maybe with the outline of the two states of KS and MO.
They want it to be fun and convey fun!

This is written for the new designers:
Their colors are red, white and blue, but they don't want the logo to look like a flag or denote patriotism. They feel that takes away from what they are trying to do. I have sent some of their previous logos to Harold C, and you can see the last revision he did using the letters MAVS and writing across them. You can't read what was written because of the ink color. They want their new logo to be fun. The club was established in 1996. They are located in Kansas City, which has the border of Kansas and Missouri running through it. They are located in Mid America, right in the center of the US. They are a very big club with great tradition.

Target Market(s)

They are a club volleyball organization. Their new logo is for the players and parents, and to get their brand seen as they travel and play in tournaments. They are located in Kansas City, which is divided by the state borders of Kansas and Missouri. So, they draw players from both states

Requirements

Must have

• The word MAVS Volleyball, Mid America Volleyball, or something that means or depicts volleyball. Like a volleyball. Fun theme. Different than what they have had in the past.

Nice to have

• Maybe put a small map of the US with just the states of Kansas and Missouri showing. Below that put the words MAVS VOLLEYBALL. Between the MAVS and VOLLEYBALL, put a volleyball with a line or trail from the ball to the spot on the border of Kansas and Missouri, Kansas City. You might also then put in smaller letters below MAVS VOLLEYBALL, Two States - One Family.

Should not have

• They don't really want KC in the logo, because it was used in previous logos.
