Logo Design Brief

Looking to revamp our logo for our 60 years in business. Company was created by my Grandfather in 1963 and has always had a knight in the logo. If a knight (or Shield or sword etc.) can be incorporated whilst still being modernised and professional then I'm happy to continue with that "theme". Preferred colours (As Per Current Logo) are Black and Blue however I would also love to see something outside of our current "comfort zone" and have some silver or gold.
