Logo Design Brief

Hello, I would like a re-designed Logo for a court reporting business called Court Reporters Inc. We would like the State of Ohio shape implemented into the log.

This is a logo that is going to be placed on a 8' by 5' sign in the front yard of a building. It is going to be placed side-by-side next to a logo for a law firm (I have attached their logo hereto), and we would like them to look well next to each other, but not completely alike, they are separate and distinct companies. We don't want it to look like they are the same company.
