Logo Design Brief

Need a logo that will be used for a non-profit organization and Supplement company. The Supplement company will donate some of its profits to the non-profit. "SpartaLife" will be the main name with 2 branches- SpartaLife Nutrition and The SpartaLife Foundation. I would like to see designs using the color black and the final design should communicate Strength and protection. I like the style of using a shield with vintage/worn down look as if it was used in a war for protection. ie. not a clean or sleek look.
