Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a new simplistic but somewhat modern logo - clean lines and easy to recognise. We are a family based construction company from Sydney, AUS. I have attached our current (very dated) logo. We are hoping for something similar but abit more modern - We would like to keep the logo itself the 2 C's - feel free to use your imagination on how to incorporate that into the design.
