Logo Design Brief
We need a logo for our two companies, Economy Roofing and Ramey Roofing. Economy has been in business for 65+ years. Ramey Roofing has been in business for 55+. We are in the process of merging the companies and Economy Roofing will soon just be a DBA of Ramey Roofing, Inc. but still its own distinct brand.
They each have logos right now, but they're old and outdated. I'd like to have one logo design that works for both companies or at least both logos to follow the same theme if you want to give each one its own twist. If possible (low priority) it could be cool to include elements from the old logos so that there is some continuity between the old and new logos.
Both companies do the same kind of roofing work and have the same target customers: Residential and commercial property owners and managers who prioritize quality work and solid warranties over the cheapest option. We want the logos to be simple and modern. We take pride in being a family run company but we also want to convey a level of sophistication and professionalism that goes beyond the proverbial "two chucks and a truck". The should be somewhat balanced left-to-right so that they can look good centered on a letterhead, business card, or truck door.
