Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company serving the Greater Phoenix Arizona, USA area. We are a Drone company providing aerial photography, videography and eventually inspection services, and so forth. The logo will be used for web, biz cards and ALL of our marketing materials.
My wish is that it be simple, clean and sharp on both white and transparent backgrounds.
Since "Blue Sky" is in our business name, we should include the color blue.
The requirement below comes from the group doing our website and and all of our online and offline marketing materials. I am copy and pasting here:
"REQUIREMENT: My final logo MUST be created in Adobe Illustrator and delivered to me as an .AI or .EPS vector file. Can you provide that to me?"

Personally, I will use all the other versions that you offer (.jpg, .png, etc.) but they are insistent that I provide them with .AI and/or .EPS that are created in Adobe Illustrator. Thank you!
