Tattoo Design Brief

Hi, I like a tattoo design for a Polynesian/Maori style Sea Turtle Tattoo for the whole back and shoulders. See picture generated with an app attached as an example for placement. I had found some designs online (e.g. the one used in photo) and while they are okay directionally, they usually were not designed for such a large area of the body, thus looking a bit „simple“ when enlarged to fit the whole back. I am hoping for more detailed design of the individual elements of the turtle, with floral/leaf/ geometric fill patterns for the elements (see some other designs I found as examples for style) , so the overall impression will be a bit more sophisticated.

Generally the use of space/intensity of the design I used as a example is roughly what I would aim for. Ie it should not be much busier or denser or cover more skin.

Also, because I plan on „staging“ this tattoo (ie one shoulder first, then after a while the other, etc…), it is important that the design works both as its individual elements as well as in the overall composition. Hope that makes sense. Thanks and looking forward to seeing the designs.

Requirements

Must have

• Individual Elements of the Turtle tattoo (left shoulder, right shoulder, head, back, must „work“ by themselves. Stick to abstract Māori/Polynesian designs

Nice to have

• Would be nice to have a few Flowers and a Sun worked in as some of the elements

Should not have

• My neck must stay free! - in order for the tattoo to go over shoulders but not cover the neck, the head of the Turtle cannot extend over the fins (as in the design example provided); No Colors, just black ink, no realistic drawing designs
