Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our Rise & Shine e-newsletter - which goes out bi-weekly with curated content from the Rise & Shine news repository website. Previously run by Bread & Butter Media (both logos attached). The e-newsletter covers the hospitality & catering industry in the South West of the UK.

We need the logo and the logo with strapline (Your morning slice of hospitality news in the South West).

As it's used at the top of the newsletter - it needs to be wide but not too deep - it's main function wherever used is as a header. It needs to work on the newsletter & the website.

COLOURS
The current colour palette is a bit muted, but are used across the website, solus emails etc, we're using are brown 8f2e1d, beige c8b69e and cream f7efde. We'd probably like to continue with three colours. A lighter colour for using as font on a darker colour, the darker colour being the main colour of the logo, and another co-ordinating light colour which can be a background - see https://mailchi.mp/breadandbutter.media/request-your-free-sample-of-sangria-solsueo-now-d3 for an example of the three colours being used.

We're looking for something more modern - the current font based logo is very outdated and lacking in design elements - that has colours that can be used to tied all the elements together.
