Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for our catering company. We have been a catering company for 15 years and mostly service corporate companies in tech and bio companies. We need something that appeals to younger more modern workers. We do weddings and other private events as well. I will attach a current logos to show what we have been using. I am interested in colorful designs but would look good in black and white. We can go with or do without the knives.
