Logo Design Brief

I'm looking for a logo for my own business that I just started this month. We're mainly providing services for music artists/bands, that includes the following areas:
- artist management
- tourmanagement / on the road
- production management
- creative / concept direction, branding
- all fields of promotion & communication

The idea for the company's name comes from the place in an old tv series (One Tree Hill), so it shouldn't be too close to the TRIC logo they created for that place - although I really like the idea of having a flash in the logo as well.

Here's a summary of the yes and no's (and maybe's) for the logo design:

YES
- look & feel: overall chic/classy/elegant but with a cool touch, modern
- brand personality tagwords: clever, cool, fresh, energetic, fierce, inspiring, professional, urban
- black / white

NO
- comic style, playful looks
- colours

Maybe's:
- flash and/or heart (silhouette/symbol) indicated or integrated in cool/stylish way, best case both
