Logo Design Brief

This is a new bricks and mortar shop in West Sussex, UK. The products we will sell will be very similar to the online shop - www.thesuffolknest.com ie silk flowers, vases, pots, kitchen items, and I like their logo. We will also be selling lots of fresh flowers and vases similar to www.wildatheart.com. And beautiful house plants like www.forest.london (love the layout of their shop stock, dislike their logo).

Like Wild at Heart we will offer an event, wedding and funeral floristry service where we will create beautiful arrangements in any venue, home or church on behalf of clients, as well as wedding bouquets etc.

In our shop interior will use old painted furniture like they use at www.petershamnurseries.com ( I don't like their logo) to create a similar vibe.

Our offering will be very 'on trend', elegant and high end. So our new logo needs to very much reflect this and must have a classic 'botanical' image that will not date.
Our customers will either be buying for themselves, or gifts (we will be selling a beautiful range of gift cards as well).

Our new logo must be simple, tasteful and timeless.

We need the logo to work on the shop front sign, a 5cm round sticker which will go on all the bouquets and other packaging and a business card.

Target Market(s)

Older customers with money who have beautiful kitchens who want fabulous flowers, plants, vases, pots and lovely things for the kitchen and garden either for themselves or as gifts.

Requirements

Must have

• A timeless feel, but not feel dated or only relevant to the elderly, it must appeal to 20 somethings and 80 somethings please !

Nice to have

• Please use olive green tones and creams - no stark white please. I would like one logo example to include a line drawing of artichokes - similar to The Suffolk Nest - but better please.

Should not have

• Bright gaudy colours.
