Apparel Design Brief
I'm planning on tackling the current issue with main stream golf attire, 1) it's far too expensive 2) it's largely pretty bland and 3) the sizes and cuts of shirts, pants and shorts are outdated. Anyone with a tiny bit of weight of them is forced to buy XL shirts which are baggy everywhere except the mid-section. Our brand is called "Tees to trees" a play on the common golf saying "tee to green" which is commonly associated with a good standard of golf, "tees to trees" is the opposite, it's essentially saying instead of hitting from the tee to the green (intended target), we're hitting it into the trees (not your intended target). There is also the other minor layer of "tees" being the same word used to t-shirt and in golf.
I'm looking for a logo that encapsualtes what golf means for our audience. We're the golfers that go out and have fun, drink some beer and have a laugh. We don't take the game seriously like the pros and their boring golf attire. I would like an extended logo of "Tees to Trees" and then just a smaller "T T" logo to put on all of our apparel. A good starting point would be to utilise "golf tees" as the T in "Tees" and a tree in the T in "tree". I also think it would be pretty cool to have a ball going from the "Tees" to the "Trees", this could be show with a line showing the trajectory of a golf ball. I have provided some example of golf tees, logos I like (but obviously need to be vaslty different) and an example of what a ball travelling into the trees could look like in a logo. The golf ball could also function a fullstop (period) at the end of the logo.
Many thanks for your help!
