Logo Design Brief

A local sports federation needs a logo design REWORK for one of its competition formats - "Laser Run". It is a fast pace sports competition created by the UIPM (Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne) that involves cross country running and laser pistol shooting in multiple sequences, for all age groups between 7 and 80. The current logo design is outdated and needs to be refreshed with a much modern look that not only is suggestive to the younger generations as well to the oldest ones. The logo design should have a modern look, creative, suitable for all ages and showing the dynamic pace of the event. Attached there is the current logo design we would like to update as well an example of what´s being used by UIPM. The final design should include the words "LASER RUN" or "Laser Run" (designer´s decision) and both Running & Laser Shooting elements together that identify the essence of the sport. For your reference you can find on youtube some educational videos showcasing the Laser Run, for designers reference and visual identification with the sport.
