Magazine Design Brief
Included i will attach a very rough draft layout of what i am looking for in terms of general layout and products/ information. I am looking at either 12, 16, or maximum 20 pages including front and back cover. Magazine size (letter 8.5"x11"). Utilize as many pages as needed to make a beautiful and informative design. For the front cover i have listed the information id like displayed. With the background feel free to get creative. I think id like to see more than just my logo in the background. Feel free to ask if i have any specific types of photos or your welcome to find photos relative to my industry online. That goes for anywhere in my magazine. I want all of the photos to flow and look great.
My focus with this magazine is to target homeowners and business owners. I am looking to expand my business into the window films and flat glass market. Especially decorative films! Automotive window tint is already my main source of income for the business and that will continue to grow on its own so while that is of course included in the magazine. That is not my primary focus.
Id like the products/ services to be displayed in the order i have shown as this is my order of priority for my business. I appreciate symmetry and mandalas and also like warmer tones/ darker pages. For the Businesses recommended by us page please just design the background page and when i get the ads from the businesses i will manually place them.
