Logo Design Brief

Company name is 'Project: Karting'
We need a 2d logo aimed logo which for other purposes can be later made 3d. The main logo should be based on an elegant technical font based on from an engineering/manufacturing background. The logo is:

PROJECT:
KARTING

With the text 'project' being underlined and being the minor size text having the same overall width as the main text underneath which is KARTING.

Also need on the side/ 2nd style logo with a modern/minimalistic logo graphic for go karting that has a focus on the kart/itself and if you're incorporating the driver the main element is the helmet. Google 'go kart logo' for a baseline but I look forward to something abstract/modern/minimalist that can be nicely transformed across digital media and print for branding.
