Logo Design Brief

Buller Road Brewery is a craft brewery located in Mansfield Victoria Australia. Mansfield is the gateway to the Victorian High Country which is an iconic Australian camping, four wheel driving and horse riding destination. It is also home the Mount Buller which is the highest peak in the district, an all year round destination for bike riding and skiing. We are seeking 2 logos for the brewery, being 1. A squarish simple bold logo that can be displayed prominently on beer cans over artwork and also to brand the premises, clothing, and 2. A horizontal version of the logo that can be used on stickers and printed mediums. We are seeking logos that reflect the location on the road that leads to Mount Buller (hence the brewery name) and the high country huts and mountain cattlemen of the Victorian High Country. Think Man from Snowy River, High Country Huts and the mountain cattleman and you will get the feeling right. Included in the logo we would give positive consideration to the inclusion of the name ‘Buller Road Brewery’, the abbreviation ‘BrB’, the mountain and road leading to it and ‘Mansfield Victoria’ not as prominent but identifiable. As for colour, a black and white logo would be regarded highly however; colours that reflect the bush will also be considered. As reference to the area the below links will give guidance to the ‘feel’ we are seeking.
