Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for an LGBT Yarn Club in SF Bay Area. I want it to include a lion gargoyle as a kind of "seal" as the house we will be gathering has a lion gargoyle mailbox, so it would be nice to have a lion "character" as the favicon/character with the logo text around it, below it, but so that the "lion" can be used separately from the wordmark (the "character" logo with the logo text)

Requirements

• A Lion Gargoyle as a "seal", maybe made to look like it's crocheted or "stitched" together

Nice to have

• some yarn elements, the "tongue" element of the lion gargoyle, see reference image. Makes the "character" a bit playful, but still sophisticated and a "crest" seal.
