Tattoo Design Brief

My dad is currently struggling of dementia and I have been thinking to have something that reminds me of the time that passes and that life is short and needs to be lived at the fullest. I have a quote that comes to mind "tempus fugit" and would like something that reminds everyday in the mirror that life had an expiration date and before that happens, I want to live and die with no regrets. I have lived a long time in Asia so I am very oriented toward that culture, a dragon would be nice to have but my dad was also a sailor so anything related to the sea would work
