Logo Design Brief

7TH NOVEMBER UPDATE: PLEASE INCORPORATE THE INFINITY SYMBOL WITH THE BRAIN IN A SMART WAY SO THAT THE LOGO HAS MEANING (THE BRAIN'S EXPONENTIAL POTENTIAL, AND MAKE THE LOGO SYMMETRICAL . MANY THANKS

UPDATE:
1. We've guaranteed the prize fund and increased the winner to £400, and runner up prizes too.

2. We've eliminated 90% of the designers and designs, we're now left with around 8 designers and 15 designs.

3. We're looking for designers with high quality concepts.

4. Please only focus on the logomark, not the text logo. We need it to be simple, elegant and smart like montblanc, but with a focus on the BRAIN (not heart), or a similar concept.

We are a brain training company, that boosts people's memory, focus and processing abilities. (lovebrain.com)

We're looking for a logotype and logomark for our company Lovebrain.

We would like the word "lovebrain" designed so that the font is clear, simple and bold enough - not too dissimilar to what we already have, but making it look unique. This would be a black or white logo, single colour. We currently have a simple one in Sans font which we like, so an upgrade would need to maintain the simplicity and professional look, just making it slightly unique.

Secondly, and MORE importantly, we would like a logomark that represents very simply and smartly "lovebrain". Possibly a logomark with just a brain, or perhaps a touch of a heart. It's important that this looks very simple like the Apple logo, and Montblanc - not complicated or anything that resembles clipart or stock images. It would be ideally all solid, or an outline like an icon. Again, this would be in black, or white, single colour. We want the focus to be more on the brain.

Even if the Logomark doesn’t look like a brain that’s fine, but a slight hint of brain would be ideal. Either way, clear, simple, smart, bold and totally unique!

We will be actively watching this competition and giving a large amount of guidance along the way.
