Infographic Design Brief

Requested, a reusable layout for planting schemes (for ponds, backyard and so on). It will be used throughout a online course about ecological garden design. The focus is on the layout, not the content, as I will fill that myself.

I’m an ecological landscape designer and teacher ecological architecture, wishing to share my knowledge by building a course. I build the course from scratch, course is under construction.

If I like the delivered layout and there’s a mutual match a long-term cooperation might be the result/more assignments will follow. I hope to find a creative wizard who can think along of creative solutions for infographics too, who can make beautiful visualisations, all in a professional style (pictures, graphs, tables and so on) for the rest of the course.

Requirements:
• It needs to consist (on one page) of a:
o Moodboard
o Planting plan (in 2D (create a pond with plants in it), with division into:
 For ponds:
• At the edge
• Floating plants and water lilies
• Submerged plants
o Table with information about the plants (suitable for about 20 plants), including a scroll bar with which you can tell which water depth the plant prefers)
o A flowering arch, with some extra info about plants (with the colors) and some visualisation of the seasons
o Companion planting table
o If you have a suggestion for a 3D design/impression, please help me out
o For inspiration, see included examples, but create something yourself, as it’s about the layout, not the content
• Use @ Example 1_Factsheet online course as the starting point/document in which to make the plan, but only use the top heading and footer, the rest needs to be adjusted and improved. It’s up to you how to present it (layout, colors, graphs, etc.)
• Layout reusable, as the course will contain multiple planting schemes for ponds and for the sake of a consistent style.
• Layout planting scheme itself fit with the style of the online course, see below for more information about the course
• Dimensions (layout) planting plan in line with that of the slides of the online course (it would be great if the planting plan also fit on a slide of the online course)
• Planting plan needs to be printable on A4 landscape format (and still readable)
• all text should be adaptable (for translation to my native language)
• Layout planting scheme contains (see starting document (@ Example 1_Factsheet online course):
o Name (for example: Planting plan pond)
o The logo (see attachment)
o copyright Ecology Academy (for example © Ecology Academy)
o name of website (www.ecologyacademy.nl)
o page number (1 of 1 if one page)
• Layout needs to be easily adaptable
• Delivery in InDesign and illustrator, delivered in layers


I included the layout / style of the course under construction, so that you know which colors, fonts, backgrounds and so on are used. I included some examples/slides of the online course too (for a better understanding).

Layout online course:
• Slide size 1080 x 1920 (px) or 28,57 x 50,8 centimeter
• Colour palet online course: dark blue (#002D46), light blue (#D9EFFF), blue (#35A7FF), earth tone (#F4D99F) and green (#11AB47) and light red/orange (#F3593C)
• Background color is mostly white or dark blue, sometimes the other colors.
• Background contains a pattern
• Text itself is mostly black or white (if background is dark blue), headers are many times green (#11AB47)
• Font titless are Baloo Bhaijaan 2 extra bold, font size titels varies between 54 and 88, font size headers is mostly 36
• Font headers are Baloo Bhaijaan 2 semibold, font size headers mostly 36
• Font reading text is poppins light regular, font size 20 (at title slides sometimes 24), spacing single
