Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for an established construction company based in South Carolina called 'McClam & Associates, Inc.' We provide utility services to the private and public sector, ranging from city to federally funded projects. We would like to see designs that include a deep royal blue. The final design should be legible from a distance - it will appear on equipment, company vehicles and apparel. We would like to incorporate equipment (excavator bucket) to form either the 'small c' or 'large C' in McClam OR have heavy construction equipment included in logo (sketch attached). We also welcome innovative ideas that are not solely dependent on the provided sketch - our company lays pipe and does numerous pipe repair projects.
