Logo Design Brief
We recently changed our name from "Basin and Petroleum System Modeling" to "Basin Processes and Subsurface Modeling". Our previous logo is attached. We don't want petroleum emphasized in the new logo. Rather, we want to convey that we study rocks and the fluids they contain, no matter what the fluid may be (water, petroleum, hydrogen, etc.). The bottom line is that we model how fluids move through rocks. The logo should communicate sustainability, if possible. A 3D geologic cartoon is preferred, similar to the old logo. One way we think of ourselves is as "rock + fluid" scientists.
