The Brass Band musical world in Britain is under threat. It is a wonderful place for children and amateurs to learn a musical instrument - it is our responsibility to protect it and grow it.
We can have a combined image of being old and slow. Our organisation wants to celebrate youth and a new / innovative way of doing things.
We don't wish to create a new logo as that exists now on our rather expensive uniforms - BUT to provide an attractive message for potential young players, something that we can use on Roll-up Banners, Facebook posts, Web banners, Tickets, Concert programmes. In short a cohesive image for our communication. I have however included the Logo design - so perhaps preparing the road for a future logo transition, or perhaps for use with the St. Pinnock Academy / Training Band.
UPDATE TO BRIEF 26/08 - DO NOT PLEASE INCLUDE THE OLD LOGO AT ALL. THINK NEW, THINK BOLD, THINK BRIGHT, YOUNG, ETC.
The final designs need to communicate a basis of tradition, but a bright, young innovative future. Please consider the bright brass bands in UK (https://www.instagram.com/nybbgb/), and those in the Netherlands, Scandinavia, etc.
