Far too often technology professionals drive business technology design by evaluating the technology in a vacuum, which leads to perpetual maintenance of status quo at best or stunted scalability, efficiency and security depth at worst. Vertx approaches "IT" as rather the larger single living business entity, fusing best in breed technologies, automation, business workflow evaluation, integration and more to deliver a technology strategy that directly drives growth.
