Logo Design Brief

This logo is for an occupational therapist who specializes in working with children with special needs. Her therapy is child-led and play-based, creating an open, trusting and safe space for children to advance their skills and work on important therapy goals. Julie is very outgoing, jubilant and connects amazingly with children. We are looking for a logo that resonates with parents/caregivers but is also welcoming and friendly for children. Julie's services are more "high end" in terms of price and level of expertise, so the logo should reflect that. She runs a very professional practice with a lot of discipline, but loves to have fun with her clients and make the children feel welcome, curious, adventurous and excited to work with her.

Many of the children that Julie works with are on the Autism spectrum. The infinity symbol is closely affiliated with the Autism community, so that could be incorporated in some way. She also loves nature, plants and leaves. Her primary idea is to incorporate leaves or a plant into the wording/letters in the logo. Leaves are also representative of growth and change, which her clients embark upon through her work. She likes a very organic, soft look as opposed to a stark, corporate image. The logo could be more feminine than masculine but should still appear very professional. With respect to colours, she likes organic softer colours (olive green, soft greens, tan, brown, apricot, peach, muted cobalt blue).
