Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a small town pet shop. I'm looking for something simple. I would prefer something rustic, but elegant. I do not want something busy. I don't want detailed pictures of animals on the logo, but I want something animal related. We will be selling fish, reptiles (lizards, snakes, chameleons, etc), birds, and small mammals (guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, etc) along with supplies for all of these and also supplies for cats and dogs. We are going to support local animal shelters for dog and cat adoptions. I want something that would look good embroidered on an apron. For the logo, I'm thinking dark brown with some green or navy blue possibly. I'm open to other colors as well. Also, I want a logo that is not just an embellishment of the company name itself. I want the company name to sit below or next to the logo. Thank you!
