Logo Design Brief

Logo and and icon for a music player called Retrovert. Retrovert is a music player for Linux, macOS and Windows that focuses on playing music from older computers and gaming systems such as (but not limited to) Commodore 64, Nintendo (NES), Sega Megadrive, etc. It would be great if the logo/icon could reflect this, but isn't strictly needed.

The logo and text has to work together with both Aktiv Grotesk Typeface and Montserrat Typeface (one of those will be used for the regular text in the application, it doesn't mean the logo has to use one of them)

The logo should has to work on both light and dark background colors (two versions would be acceptable as well)

The reference images should be taken as just an idea that could potentially be incorporated into the logo/icon, but isn't required.
