App Design Brief

I currently have an app that is called Birdiecoach and I am redoing the app completely and with this I am looking for a cool design for the app. I am not happy with the design as it is at the moment. The app should have a nice welcome and when you are logged in the dashboard must be very modern. It is a golf app that have 2 type of users. 1 user is the coach and the other user is the student. Those users can see different things of course.
The coach is normally paying a subscription charge for using the app but I want to get the students to pay for different tools that I will be offering via the app. To me the dashboard and the homepage of the app (once you have downloaded the app) is important. Here I would like to get the student as well as the coach the feeling of what the app can offer. The app offers features like Calendar (here the student can book the coach via the calendar), Chat (here the coach and the student can chat with each other as well as the coach can creat group chats with several students), Notes (here the coach as well as the student can create notes for their lessons), video tips (here the coach can upload video tips for his/her students, online lesson (the student can take online lessons by uploading recorded videos..and so on
