Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new construction company.
We would like for it to be a simple logo with the play on the word JEM (gem). We would love if you could find a non cheesy way to incorporate a diamond or a gem cut into the logo.

Our purpose is to improve the quality of life for our clients, and to create a better every day home sanctuary for our clients. We would like the logo to portray that we're detail oriented, quality driven, and approachable.

The logo should be successful in black and white photocopies. We're open to more than one color, maybe black, white and navy blue.
