Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my newly created company named "Orange Beaver Inc.". It is a company that offers consulting services for advanced research / scientific / machine learning projects. The company is based in Canada, where the Beaver is an iconic animal, very hard working and smart.

I am looking for a logo that represents, at an abstract level, a beaver with glasses to focus on the scientific and consulting aspects of the company. Computers, science and technology are also relevant concepts but I would like the logo to be simple, pleasing to the eyes and easy to recognize. It must look modern but not childish or aggressive.

A circle shape would be nice but I am open to a round square-shaped logo (like modern Mac apps).
