Medicare is a health insurance program funded by the United States government for people 65 years old and older in the U.S. It is an excellent health insurance program that allows seniors to see any doctor they choose and covers all of their medical costs with one monthly premium.
However, in recent years the U.S. government has allowed private insurance companies to offer an alternative to regular Medicare called Medicare Advantage that, on the surface, may look attractive to seniors because it provides modest extra benefits and may cost less when people are healthy but in reality provides less health care and costs more money if they become sick.
Even worse, if a senior chooses to leave regular Medicare and enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan there is a good chance they will never be able to return to regular Medicare. This fact is not explained to seniors before they choose to switch and they often find out they are stuck in a Medicare advantage plan the rest of their lives when they strongly prefer to return to regular Medicare.
I am launching a communications platform to help seniors understand this issue called The Medicare Advantage Trap. I need a logo to use on the website, book cover, emails, online advertising and videos.
The logo should convey the consternation people who choose to enroll in a Medicare advantage plan fell when they learn they are unwittingly stuck in that type of plan the rest of their lives.

Requirements
Must have
- The concept is negative. It must be clear to the person who sees the logo that choosing a Medicare Advantage plan is a bad choice. The decision to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan is a bad decision because you get trapped in a type of plan that provides less care and costs you more money when you get sick and costs you more money when you get sick. The words """Advantage and "Trap" are just as important as the word "Medicare.
Nice to have
- A graphical element that visualized the concept of unhappily being trapped in a bad health insurance plan for the rest of someone's life.
Should not have
- cheery, positive, hopeful feel.
