Character Design Brief
I am looking for a T-shirt to match different sneaker colorways. I recently held a contest and updated my logo and gave my brand a character, I have attached both of those pics. You’ll notice how they can both be switched up to match a specific sneaker color. Now I’m looking for another design with a graffiti type wolf (or some animal anyway). I initially had this contest for a racoon, but I was not getting the energy I was looking for. I’m sorry to switch things up halfway through. I want this character to be more sinister and deranged. Like a “savage” Wolf. Maybe like an ARMY style WAR wolf with battle scars, bandages, helmet, Etc. Definitely looking for more of a graphic novel type of feel. Rather than the computer generated image type of look. I have attached a few t-shirt designs that are already out there with the same concept, except most of the time people use a bear, or a bunny. It could be the whole Wolf, or just the face….I think I’d prefer to include the body, but it’s not completely necessary. As you can see by the pics of the bears I attached, they are all the same, but all different. Anything that makes mine stand out the better. I would rather see the wolf scary or angry than happy and childish. The Wolf can def be smiling, I just want a more mature look. The idea would be to be able to change the colors in the design to match the sneaker colorway. I would like to keep this with a “street graffiti” type of feel. I attached some METAL MULISHA pics as well, cause I feel like it goes with the “graffiti”, “streetwear” type of look. I’m open to all sorts of interpretations as I think there’s all sorts of ways to go with this. Nothing offensive like middle finger or anything. I’d say no piercings or tattoos unless it’s really a great idea, like I could picture a wolf with gauged out ears and it looking pretty awesome. Could be open to like cigar smoking or pipe smoking if done properly. Should try to incorporate the logo or the words “Kickin Oldskool” into the shirt, even if it’s just small print off to the side somewhere. Or like sticker across the helmet or a patch on the vest/jacket. Potentially looking to add the wolf as a character for the brand, like a villain for my Johnny Oldskool character ….so there would be the option for continued work after this project.

I had to make a change/update to the contest. I changed the preferred animal from a raccoon to a Wolf. I was not getting what I was looking for from the raccoon. I apologize for the inconvenience, and I hope that I can see some more submissions from you. You guys are absolutely killing the Wolf design. I wanted to see if I could help narrow the focus a little bit, and give the Wolf a “METAL MULISHA” type of feel. I attached some pics. This is still in line with the graffiti concept, but instead of the hoodies hats and headphones, I’d like to see army helmet, army vest/jacket type of thing. Some people have used gas masks, and I really like that idea as well. I am new to this whole process, so I appreciate the hard work from all of you. I am going to need multiple designers moving forward, and so I definitely would like to work with some of you again after this contest.
