Logo Design Brief

Hi there,
We are looking for a new logo for our skateboard brand Franga Skate Decks.
We would like the central image based around that old school Ed Roth style.
We are a small beach town in South East Australia and would want that depicted in central image eg, a couple of palm trees etc,. We would like a colourful logo image but also pop in simply black or white, or wood burned into our skateboards or printed large on the back of a t-shirt. It also needs to be edgy and exaggerated as per this artwork style, (detailed and not "too" clean looking). Basically a main character (mascot) riding a skateboard around the beach. This mascot (rat?) will be used in future projects including skateboard artwork itself.

Images have been uploaded to give basic idea of artwork in mind, including
basic logo layout (circular) and the pose/stance in which we would like the central character (mascot) to be riding.

Note: the layout sketch is terrible I know, but both the "Victoria, Australia" and "Huntington Beach, CA" will be a much smaller font size obviously. I'll leave sizing/proportion up to you experts 😀
