Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new boutique mining consultancy business based in Perth, Western Australia. We assist exploration and mining companies to develop smart strategic plans to develop their mineral resources and mine and process them. Our specialty is in open pit and underground mine strategic mine designs and schedules and economic modelling of alternative strategies. The main commodities we assist with are gold, nickel, copper, zinc and other base metals. The design should communicate the support we give to mineral resource owners to get the optimal value out of their assets. Most of our clients' assets are in the eastern goldfields, and arid regions of Western Australia, so plants, animals and colour palettes (e.g. the rust coloured red-dirt) associated with those areas may be a useful influence in the design. Similarly symbolism of open pit and underground mining, and value (cash flow) creation would be appropriate as well.
