Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo design for a company whose target market is the New England/Boston area sports fans. This is a clothing company whose focus would be sports-minded fans of the east coast, whether they have roots there, they currently live there, or follow a sports team in the Boston/New England area. The website is www.justeastcoast.com to get an idea of the vibe of some of the apparel for sale. I would like to have some association incorporated into the logo that all people from the east coast can make an association.

Requirements

Must have

• Captivating logo where the lettering of ECB/East Coast Bias symbolism that reminds people of the east coast. When worn on a shirt or a hat, it must be easy to read/view.

Nice to have

• I have been through several designers and have yet to see something that people would be drawn to other than the ECB words in different fonts. I am looking for an image or some symbolism that is original and people will know it is for the company, East Coast Bias. The color pallet should have red and blue, however, I'm not limited to just those colors if the design can make an impact, however, I prefer to have those as the focal point colors. I can accommodate gray as well if properly incorporate into the logo, but that is not a requirement. The font itself should can be original or sans serif. .

Should not have

• The primary target market is males, so cursive writing or soft lines, bubbly text, or cutesy text fonts is not something I want. I prefer not to have the actual state of Massachusetts incorporated into the logo. I also prefer not to have a baseball, football, basketball, or hockey puck/stick as part of the logo. No yellow, orange, pink, or purple in the logo design. I was required to include images or sketches for inspiration so the photos you see are not required to be part of the logo.
