Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for our new blog, CorgiHaus, that discusses information about corgi ownership and our own journeys owning corgis. We are an extended family and based our company off 3 of our corgis, Lucas, Phoebe, and Freya.
We like the idea of having their headshots in a triangular pattern under a minimal line drawn house (with just 4 lines). I've attached a.... concept image I guess you could say that I did in powerpoint. We're open to ideas without the house since we would like to use this as our main content creation company's logo and not just the corgi one. For the headshots, we've had our dogs illustrated on previous projects and have attached them here. We don't want as much detail on the logo as in the illustrations but we do want their coloration and markings to be clearly represented like Freya's eyebrows, white and brown parts on Lucas, etc. Lucas like in the illustration is always giving side-eye, so you can usually see some of the whites in his eyes. Phoebe doesn't usually have her tongue out and is usually staring directly at you. Freya tends to be "smiling" like in her illustration or has her tongue out still looking like she is smiling, and you can usually see her two tiny lower canine teeth but that might be too small a detail to incorporate.
The house we would like to be black or a very dark gray, whichever you think would work best. The position of each corgi we don't have a preference on but we do think that since the house element is going to be dark, to have Phoebe at the top since she's tan and white and have Lucas and Freya at the bottom to anchor with their black color, that's just what we feel would look good and are open to anything.
The logo text, corgiHaus, we don't want the text to be a part of the design, or at least a very large part of the design, since we would like to use this logo without the name in some places. I don't want to limit this too much though if you come up with something very clever and exciting. We also are unsure if we prefer it in camel case as in corgiHaus or CorgiHaus, though we are leaning on camel case!
