Logo Design Brief
Hi,
We are currently rebranding our health and fitness business and need a new logo.
Quick info:
Company name: Bodylab Nutrition & Bodylab Fitness & Nutrition
Colour: green / white and blue to represent health
It would also be good If you can provide an example with our catch line under if we want that: Life changing, Research driven results. However we can add that at a later date as we are still finalising it.
The business focuses on life changing, research driven results. We pride ourself on producing the best results in the area and being some of the most knowledgable professionals in the area and UK.
As you can see we have two names which we are still playing with some we would want the design to be able to incorporate both / either.
Services: weight loss, nutrition, health, fitness, sports performance, muscle growth / physique.

Extra details:
The company is based in the UK and is a large personal training company, we focus mainly in nutrition and weight loss. We also do a lot of run coaching, triathlon coaching, sports therapy / injury / biomechanics and strength and muscle growth / conditioning.
As part of rebranding we need all our design work doing so business card, flyers, posters, website, email signatures, letterheads etc so plenty of business if successful.
We want the logo to be eye catching and very professional.
We are hoping to branch out into creating our own supplement line, opening our own small gym, running bootcamps in the summer, education courses etc.
As you can see we want to keep our options open for future progression.
We would quite like the logo to illustrate some of the services we offer, it needs to appear luxury, professional etc.
We like the David Lloyd's logo below as it shows some of the services they offer, it would be good if you can show weight loss in the logo. This could be done with a before and after sketch like a typical before and after photo you see online. However this may look cheap so we will leave it upto you.
We are a research driven company hence the name body"lab" everything is based on scientific knowledge.

Hi all,
Thank you for all the designs so far, they great!
We are keen to see a few more designs implementing the following points:
- A lot of designs have tried to incorporate a person or some sort of leaf. If we can stick away this as I want it to look more professional and prestigious. I want the company to look well developed and large / corporate rather than looking like every other small personal training brand.
So in summary, make the logo look more luxury and prestigious. Try to stay clear of a person or leaf and go for something that will stand out from the crowd.
We look forward to seeing more designs and working with the winner on all our future projects.

One other point I forgot to add..
I like a lot of the text styles however I'm not keen on how the "y" cuts down into the fitness & nutrition. Could we try a different type of font or maybe capital letters to avoid this in future submissions.
With regards to the symbols, if you can maybe produce something similar to this example logo. I love the shape as it represents science and chemistry however it doesn't appear to Lab based as after all we are a exercise company as well and don't want to look like a science company!

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We've had some great designs and just considering which one to select. If you would like to submit one or two more designs with the following spec below feel free.
If you would like to submit a new design we've fine tuned what we would really like in our logo.
1. Bodylab Nutrition & Fitness
2. We want it to look prestigious and luxury
3. We quite like the hexagon symbol like this company.. http://www.precisionnutrition.com
4. Inside the hexagon you could add some sort of science symbol like DNA (just google DNA for example) or someone exercising.
5. We would like the hexagon symbol to the right of the text.
We've allowed 3 days however we may select in one or two days so any new or revised designs please submit ASAP.
We look forward to any new designs and the edited designs from people.
